Welcome to eBook Writing

In this course we will explore the hows and whys of writing an eBook. If you are like me you have, on occasion, fantasized about writing a book and having people clamoring to buy it. But like me maybe you just haven’t found the time or energy to do it. I’m here to tell you it’s much easier to start out writing something much shorter.
This is not to say that writing an eBook or eReport is settling for less. On the contrary, eBooks have some advantages over regular books:
- eBooks are more immediate and reach more people
- They are cheaper and easier to publish
- They are generally more focused than books with more emphasis on content over word count
- eBooks are more convenient for the modern consumer. People will read an eBook on their phone or iPad before they will buy a book on the same topic.
- You don’t have to deal with editors and publishers
About the eBooks included in this course
In this course I will be providing you with sample eBooks and eBooks that give you further advice on writing an eBook. I collected these materials from various Private Label Rights (PLR) sites. PLR sites market eBooks, some for free for you to re-sell and some for a moderate fee. The trend these days is for writers to churn out eBooks that others can sell through those annoying ads you see on Facebook telling you how you can make fifty thousand dollars in the next 24 hours with their revolutionary system. Most of these eBooks are actually downloaded with a sales page and offered by ordinary people hoping to make a few bucks.
I respect that these people are just trying to feed their families. This is why I include a statement in some of the lessons about not giving away their work. Contact me if you would like more information on the fair use or re-sale of these eBooks.
